David is a life long resident of the Dallas Fort Worth Area and currently resides in Northeast Tarrant County. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University in 1994, David spent the next seven years as a professional in banking, finance and investment industry as a vice president of Bank of America. In 2001 David made the decision to return to school to pursue a law degree. David worked full time while attending law school at night. David graduated from Texas Wesleyan School of Law in 2004 where he was a member of the Law Review and multiple time Dean’s List honoree. Since graduating law school, David has been practicing real estate, estate planning, and general business law. The Hays Law Firm maintains a fee attorney relation with a local title agent and provides escrow and closing services throughout the metroplex for residential sales, refinances, commercial transactions, and investor transactions.

Robert Wells is a licensed escrow officer and has been closing transactions for over 13 years. Mr. Wells closes transactions in all areas of real estate including residential, commercial, new construction and investment transactions. Currently Mr. Wells manages the closing office for The Hays Law Firm and acts as the lead closing agent.

Mr. Poole has substantial experience representing individuals, small and large corporations and financial institutions in a variety of matters. Mr. Poole also handles landlord/tenant disputes, as well as probate matters and consumer and commercial disputes. Mr. Poole has substantial experience in both state and federal courts across the State of Texas.

• Represents Commercial and Residential Landlords on a variety of Landlord/Tenant issues including commercial lock-outs, forcible detainer lawsuits and appeals, and lease negotiations.
  
• Successfully obtained a $2.4 million judgment on behalf of a Commercial Property Owner related to dry cleaning contamination at an EPA Super Fund and National Priority Site.
  
• Successfully defended a major financial institution through trial in a $4.6 million dispute.
  
• Represents and advises individuals and families regarding estate administration and probate issues, including will contests and heirship determinations.
